Stress
Management
Think
of an elastic band. When it's loose and limp it serves no purpose;
when it's stretched its function becomes apparent, its strength
revealed; when it's overstretched it tears or breaks.
People
are certainly more complex than an elastic band, but some of the
same principles apply. It is important to be stretched, but we face
problems if our pressures take us beyond breaking point. Yet if
we are never stretched, our strengths are never revealed to ourselves,
let alone anybody else.
Stress
Management helps us to manage both extremes of the spectrum, either
through too much stress or through too little. Change can be achieved
through new understandings and insights discussed on a conscious
level. More often, the really difficult problems do not respond
to rational thought, so it is more effective to work directly with
the subconscious mind to bring about permanent and lasting change.
If
you feel problems are breaking you, it is time to look for solutions.
Stress Management can help.
