Hands
on Healing
People
have always used their hands to comfort someone in pain. The healing
touch transmits positive energies, which may heal. Spiritual
Healing is the channelling of healing energy from its "spiritual
source" to the one needing help. The channel for this energy
is the healer, and the usual method of transference is through the
hands.
Spiritual
Healing believes all disease is dis-ease, and healers work on the
inner you to heal the outer you. Stress and anxiety is the most basic factor
stimulating disease and illness. Stress can accumulate and tensions
can build until the muscles constrict, this in turn can restricts the flow of blood
and nerve functions. This then can weaken the glandular system, and an array
of physical disorders develops.
Healers
try to find the cause of the stress, develop relaxation, quieten
the mind and discover an inner peace. Then muscles hopefully are
eased, the constricted veins, arteries and nerves may then,
hopefully perform properly again,
the glands and organs receive essential nutrients, and physical
healing may begin.
Healing is available on a one-to-one basis or
after a treatment.

Reiki Healing
Reiki, meaning
"universal life force energy", aims to improve health and enhance
the quality of life. It treats the whole person including body,
emotions, mind and spirit and may create many beneficial effects
including relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and
self-improvement that everyone can use.
A treatment aims to work on both an emotional and physical level and
is given by placing the hands on or over the body, sometimes in a
specific sequence, sometimes according to intuition. Energy is then
channelled through the therapist's hands to the body where it is
used as required according to the needs of the individual. It is
carried out with the recipient fully clothed and can also be used
for distance (absentia) healing if the recipient is too far away or
unable to travel Finally, it is a wonderful way to treat yourself
when you feel the need to unwind.
